Another SIGG at the Museum of Modern Art

02.03.2009

In 2008, SIGG celebrated its 100th anniversary, and now another one of SIGG’s bottles has been incorporated into the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. The bottle was created by Swiss designer Kurt Zimmerli, whose studio is located in Warth in eastern Switzerland.

The MoMA holds one of the largest and most diverse collections of modern art in the world. From an initial exhibition with a mere eight prints and one drawing, the museum’s collection has grown to include more than 150,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, architectural models and drawings, and design objects. SIGG is proud to be included in this collection once again in the company’s anniversary year.
