Surfing’s “night of nights”, the ASP World Champions’ Crowning, is a gala event, hosting the world’s best surfers as well as distinguished figures from the surfing industry in honour of the 2008 ASP World Champions.

“The Association of Surfing Professionals International welcomes to the 2008 ASP World Champions Crowning, February 26th 2009.

The red Carpet event was hosted at the Gold Coast CE Centre in Broadbeach Queensland and the master of the ceremony was Channel 9 commentator Mark Beretta.

SIGG officially sponsored 600 strictly limited drink bottles for this special event. The well known 600ml “Simply Eco Logical” –Bottle with the Logo of the ASP printed on the back was a great success and much appreciated by all the celebrities like Kelly Slater (9 time World Champion), Layne Beachley (7 time World Champion), Stephanie Gilmore (2008 World Champion) and even Kirk Pengilly from INXS, said when asked to be photographed with our bottle “Yes I will do it”.

We could enjoy a great celebration in an easy, relaxing environment with great food, drinks and an “After Party” till the early hours. To the organisers a big THANK YOU!
