„PLAY“ SIGG is an interactive art installation created using SIGG bottles, with audience participation producing unique audio-visual pieces. 550 SIGG bottles were used to construct the screen, and a HD projector was used for the 3D projection mapping.
The idea has been created by a group of talented young Japanese, making a number of bottles with designs appearing after pouring cold water, and SIGG bottles can be used to make different “ocean” music.
SIGG bottles can be used as three different kinds of musical instruments by respectively pouring water, rice, beans inside the bottles. They link up the bottles with some electronic devices and amplifier & overhead projector. When you hit or shake the SIGG bottles, some relaxing ocean sounds will be made and relevant pre-set ocean images be also shown on the screen.
