Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon made her first appearance on television in advertisements for a florist when she was seven years old. She later dropped out of university to pursue her acting career after studying English literature for one year.

She went on to land the lead role in her very first film after auditioning for The Man in the Moon. For her performance as Dani, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award. In 1999, Reese was nominated for a Golden Globe as best actress in a musical or comedy for her role in Election. Her ultimate breakthrough came with her lead role in Legally Blonde.

Many people probably know Reese Witherspoon because of her performance in Walk the Line, the biopic about famous US country singer Johnny Cash. Starring as Cash's second wife, June Carter Cash, she performed four songs for the movie and subsequently received the 2006 Golden Globe and the 2006 Academy Award as best actress in a lead role.

We are happy to give her an award for being a "great celebrity with a SIGG bottle".
